Perfect Winter Purchase, November 27, 2011 By Eric (New Hampshire) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Flaxseed Pillow - Bed Companion (Red) This is my first winter living in New England and I'm finding it pretty difficult to stay warm without having to run the heat all day. This pillow looked like a good cost effective option for staying warm and saving money. As soon as the pillow arrived I tossed it in the microwave for a few minutes and was immediately rewarded with a fantastic source of warmth. I have been using it to warm up my neck, hands and feet as they get especially cold. With this pillow I can warm up the spots that need it the most without having to crank up the thermostat. The fabric is plush and soft and the stitching is secure. While the pillow is obviously well made, it still has that charming hand made feel to it that commercial pillows lack. Definitely a great holiday gift.

My hands and feet are always cold when I go to bed, but this pillow, warmed in my microwave for a few minutes, keeps me cosy warm and helps me to fall asleep quickly. It is better than an electric heating pad in that it gently wraps around and conforms to my body, and the cloth is velevty soft. I move it around: feet, stomach, back, hands. It feels good everywhere. I plan to buy several for holiday gifts[ Flaxseed Pillow - Long Neck Pillow (Cheetah)]] Flaxseed Pillow - Bed Companion (Jaguar) and note that they can be mailed anywhere free of charge.
